There will be Prayer and Fasting 16th - 20th July leading up to the convocation.
Sunday Service
The Sunday evening service will be a service of honour for Bishop Dunn, the founding fathers and their wives. Each district will be represented in this service.
Special Offering
On Tuesday of the convocation there will be a ‘love offering’ for our acting presiding Bishop Simmonds.
Morning Prayer Meetings
The early morning prayers meetings will be run by the districts. The northern district will be responsible for the Wednesday morning and Minister Neil will oversee this. Please do your best to support on the Wednesday. The start times will be given during the convocation.
Donation: £30.00 All Members and Officers
Funds raised from the donations will be used to offset the financial outgoings of the convocation and also help to maintain financial stability within the organisation.
Those who pay their will receive a convocation registration pack which will contain the convocation magazine, pen, gift aid envelopes and other useful items relating to the sessions that will be delivered during the week.
Donations are to be given in to one of the admin officer and if possible by Sunday 8th July 2018. Packs will be reserved for those who have given the donation
Gift Aid
Gift aid envelopes will be available throughout the convocation (for tax paying brethren). Please use these envelopes for any offerings you give throughout the week. If anyone would like to give through gift aid but is unsure about this method of giving, please see Overseer David for further explanation.
Convocation Meals
Meals: Non Pensioners £7.00
Pensioners £3.00
Each pensioner will be expected to meet the expense of their meal and purchase a dinner ticket.
BUSY (Bethe United School for Youth):
We need two volunteers from the North for the Bethel United School for Youth that runs during the Convocation. Classes will run Monday to Thursday, 10:30am to 2pm daily, for 3-16yr-olds. Please let one of the admin officers have your names by Sunday 8th July if you are interested in volunteering.
Social Media Team (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
Looking for volunteers to help in the following areas District Social Media leads, Photographers, Videographers, Writers (including blogging and journalism) and graphic designers. Please contact Sister Samantha the Social Media coordinator at bethelnationalmedia@gmail.com by Saturday 30th June if you want to serve as part of this team. All must be active in their local church and aged 16 or above.

We have been given the opportunity to give ‘FEEDBACK’ on our experiences throughout the convocation week. This can be done through email–feedback@betheluniteduk.org.uk
For those who would like to feedback but do not use emails, you can do this by letting Sis Gale know and your ‘feedback’ will be passed on through the church email address.
Prayer & Fasting
There will be a period of PRAYER & FASTING leading up to the convocation from Monday 16th July to Friday 20thJuly. All members are encouraged to participate in this.
Empowerment Sessions
This year EMPOWERMENT SESSIONS are being introduced. The purpose of these session is to sharpen and strengthen workers within the organisation who serve in their local churches. See the noticeboard for a list of the possible sessions being offered and further information concerning the sessions.
